🎨 Water Lilies on Hudson – A Day of Art & Nature
Join us on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 10 AM – 3 PM at Cedar Lane Park in Ossining for Water Lilies on Hudson, a special outdoor celebration of art, creativity, and community. Inspired by the beauty of Monet’s waterlilies, this event invites you to make your own masterpiece surrounded by the natural splendor of Cedar Lane.
Bring your sketchbook, paints, or favorite art supplies and enjoy working from a live model on site. For families, there will be a children’s art table with staff guidance and free art materials, making it a perfect day for artists of all ages.
And that’s not all — join us for our Catch-and-Release End-of-Summer Fishing Day! An experienced fisherman will be on hand to teach basic fishing skills, with fish in the pond and a few extra poles available courtesy of Ossining Recreation. It’s a fun way to enjoy the outdoors, learn something new, and maybe even test your patience with a little fishing luck.
What to Bring:
Your own art supplies (if desired)
A hat, sunscreen, and bug spray
A sense of creativity and adventure!
Details:
Parking, restrooms, and water will be available on site.
