Introducing The Palette and Artwork in Focus
Beginning March 1, the Ossining Arts Council will launch a new monthly newsletter: The Palette.
Designed as a curated snapshot of OAC’s creative life, The Palette brings together upcoming events, featured programs, community highlights, and opportunities for artists — all in one place. Rather than simply sharing announcements, the newsletter aims to reflect the broader rhythm of our organization: the work happening behind the scenes, the connections forming across our community, and the exhibitions and initiatives unfolding throughout the year.
Each issue will include:
From the President – a monthly message from OAC leadership
At the Easel – a look ahead at upcoming programs, exhibitions, and initiatives
Studio Feature – highlights and reflections from recent OAC events
Artwork in Focus – a rotating presentation of member artwork
Beyond the Easel – regional opportunities and calls for artists
The goal is simple: to keep our members and community connected, informed, and inspired.
Introducing Artwork in Focus
Alongside the launch of The Palette, OAC is also introducing a new feature on our website: Artwork in Focus.
Each month, three Ossining Arts Council artists will be featured in a rotating online presentation that highlights a single work from each artist. This space is designed to slow the pace of viewing and invite closer attention to individual pieces — allowing the artwork itself to take center stage.
Selections will rotate monthly, offering visitors the opportunity to return and discover new work. When available, related content such as artist interviews or talks may also be included.
Artwork in Focus exists alongside our Virtual Exhibitions and reflects OAC’s continued commitment to elevating member artists and expanding digital engagement.
Stay Connected
The Palette will arrive in inboxes on the first of each month beginning March 1. If you’re not yet subscribed, we invite you to join our mailing list and be part of OAC’s evolving creative conversation.
We look forward to sharing what’s unfolding — in the studio, in the community, and beyond.
