Anthony Cuozzo
Anthony Cuozzo is a self-taught artist based in Ossining, New York, whose work explores texture, movement, color, and the tension between control and unpredictability. Working primarily in abstraction, he approaches each piece intuitively, allowing materials and process to influence the direction of the work rather than beginning with a fixed outcome.
His practice has continued to evolve beyond traditional acrylic painting, incorporating layered textures, spray paint, mixed media, and experimental techniques. Whether working on canvas or an unconventional surface, Anthony is drawn to the physical act of building an image—adding, removing, obscuring, and revealing until the work develops its own visual language. His pieces often exist somewhere between structure and disorder, inviting viewers to find their own meaning within them.
Anthony is an active member of the local arts community and has exhibited in regional shows while contributing to projects that bring artists and audiences together.
