My paintings and mixed media pieces are a celebration of the beauty of the natural world. I have always felt a strong connection with plants and animals, and have been fascinated by the intense beauty they possess. I strive to share this love with my audience by observing deeply, and creating pieces that joyfully explore the color, form, and pattern that natural objects have to offer. Out of respect for the environment, all my paintings are created on components of upcycled discarded wooden furniture and my mixed media pieces include upcycled frames which I have lovingly restored, refinished, and painted with my signature dots.
